I stayed in a flat of the 4-star residence for one week in August. The flat looks new, it is kept very well, clean, everything working. The proximity to the sea, the chance to rent the hotel’s bikes and to use the pool are good points, people at the hotel reception, moreover, are always kind and helpful…
It is a tourist complex made by hotel and residence (one 3-star and one 4-star). We stayed at the 4-star residence, in order to visit my daughter’s family. I have marveled for the allocation, for the internal, cleaning and dotation (Tv with Sky service, air-conditioning, dishwasher etc.)…
HOW DOES THE ENTERTAINMENT WORK? IN WHICH PERIOD?
The Entertainment service starts 11th June and ends 9th September. For adults it has been planned the beach warm up and, to follow, water aerobics and various tournaments.
In the Afternoon there are tournaments , alternated with fitness activities as Zumba Dance or Latin dance. There are also thematic Nights next to the Hotel pool, together with shows, cabaret ad karaoke.
For children we created a MINI CLUB, meant for guests between 4 and 12 (younger children must be accompanied by the mother). During the morning they will be entertained at the beach by our entertainment staff, in the afternoon the activities will continue in the game room next to Hotel’s pool.
HAVE RESIDENCE APARTMENTS A SEAVIEW?
No, they haven’t. They are in the second row.
IS THERE A CAR PARK?
At the 3-star residence, each apartment has got a parking space reserved.
At the 4-star residence, each apartment has got a private indoor garage.
AT WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK IN AND MUST I CHECK OUT?
You can enter the apartment as soon as possible, in any case after 3 pm. Of the arrival day and must be left no later than 10 am. Of the departure day. All the procedures must be done at the reception of the Hotel.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE THE HALF-BOARD OR FULL PENSION SOLUTION AT THE HOTEL?
Concerning the restaurant service, we usually accept occasional reservation, due to lack of space. If you are interested in this service, we propose you a full menu: € 25.00 per person for adults and €15.00 per each child.
Nearby there are also authorized restaurants.
HOW FAR ARE SHOPS, SUPERARKETS, PHARMACIES AND THE CITY CENTER?
Our residences are in the touristic area of the city on the promenade, where it is possible to walk and see the most of summer shows, together with the many activities for children. City center 2,5 km, bus stop next to the hotel. 50/100mt there are small grocery shops. Mall – bakery – pharmacy – laundry and various shops about 800 mt. away.
HOW FAR IS THE URGENT CARE?
Urgent care about 800 mt – hospital about 2 km. Possibility of paid pediatric examination at home.
CAN I RENT BIKES AT THE RESIDENCE?
Yes, you can. You can find bikes in both residences. You will get keys and child seats at the hotel.
IS THERE WIFI CONNECTION?
Yes, there is. All areas are wholly covered by free Wi-Fi signal. You can get the password at the reception of the Hotel Taormina.
IS THERE AIR CONDITIONED?
Yes, there is. All areas are wholly air-conditioned.
IS THERE THE WASHING MACHINE?
All the apartments are equipped with washing machine and ironing board.
ARE BALCONIES EQUIPPED WITH TABLE AND CHAIRS?
Balconies are wide and well equipped with tables and chairs.
ARE THOSE ALL INCLUSIVE?
Yes, they are. Consumption included are water, light, air conditioned, car park and private beach.
ARE THERE DISHES, TOWELS AND BED SHEETS?
Yes, there are. Apartments are equipped with cooking tools (but without kitchen linen), bed linen with weekly change.
IS AN EXTRA CLEANING OF THE APARTMENT OR A BED SHEETS EXTRA CHANGE FORESEEN?
With three days’ notice, if you desire you can ask for a paid extra cleaning or a paid extra bed sheet change.
MUST ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE BE ON SATURDAYS?
Yes, they must, from May to September.
HOW DOES THE BEACH SERVICE WORK?
We offer you a private beach service, we usually propose in the quote a price for this service (which is optional) for a beach umbrella + 2 beach loungers. The allocation of beach umbrellas is made at the arrival, by trying to satisfy the needs of guests, as far as possible.
